Buy a small amount of boot oil and apply it to the outside of the leather. Then flex the boots by hand a few times. Then liet them sit overnight. Next day flex them again by hand a few times and then wear them normally.
They should begin to loosen up enought o tighten them. AS you wear them, they will loosen more and you will have more flexibility in them. I hope you bought the correct size skate, though.

I would say skate in them. to my knowledge that is the only way to do it. good luck!

there really is no other way but to skate in them, you could try the oil like the other responder suggested but I think it would be a waste of time. If you need to get your laces tighter try a Lace Tightener as seen on the page below.

Wear them while u watch a hockey game
Also depending on the type of skates you can get them moulded to your foot at the store that you bought them at and if they still do not feel right then get them remoulded

Take them to a pro and have them baked. They put them in a special machine that “bakes” them and you wear them in the store and they form to your foot. Trust me it works. Also while you are there get the blade profiled. If the sharpener is a pro you will skate better than you ever have and be able to go into corners much faster. Good luck.
