How long is an average college field hockey game?
By hoif | May 23, 2009
phreethynker asked:
I’m wanting to go to the Division I Field Hockey Championship game tomorrow, but I’m not sure how much time I actually have. I was wondering: (a) how long does an average college field hockey game last, and (b) what are the minimum and maximum times that games tend last? Thanks!

two 35-minute halves. (70 mins).
there’s 10 mins between halves.
the clock is stopped after each goal.

actual time of field hockey is 35-10-35min… but in college game they fix as they want… it may be 2 halves of 20 or 25….in division II which i played was 25-10-25min…. so min 25 and max is 35….
