Question by mary: what is the difference between normal tights and ice skate tights?
I take ice skate classes and I need some tights for ice skating would there be much of a difference if I wore regular tights? Because ice skate tights are expensive.

ice skating tights aren’t that expensive. i would recommend them, they look better, the color is better, they’re warmer, they’re thicker, and they don’t run as easily as regular tights do. i would definitely get them. i strongly recommend them. they’re worth it.

There is a big difference between ice skating tights and regular tights. Regular tights are thinner, and they don’t keep you warm, plus they aren’t waterproof. Figure skating tights are waterproof, more warm and a lot thicker. I no they are expensive. I have probably gone through 100 dollars worth of over the boot tights because they rip a lot. But trust me, ice skating tights are worth it. You can buy ice skating tights online. And the footed tights are cheeper than over the boot tights.
Hope I helped!
